How do you find time to do everything you want/need to do in a day?

I am now a WAHM and I realized I just don’t have time to do everything I want to in a day.  I am so far behind in my blog reader that its scary, I have no idea how or when I’m going to get caught up.  Oh and and then there’s my blog, my poor blog that I hope doesn’t fall through the cracks.  I’m going to work really hard to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Sorry if I haven’t commented lately or if my comments are shorter/less thoughtful then before.

As a renter, when you move out of a place do you super clean it or do you just do the say bathroom and kitchen?

If anyone is a landlord what do you expect?

As followers of this blog know we just moved.  We knew I wouldn’t really be able to do much because of Lily so we enlisted the help of some friends.  We paid them to help so they were willing to go just about as far as I wanted.   But by half way through the day they were all telling me that no one cleans as much as I wanted and no one expects it.  I wanted wall washed and the carpets cleaned and the whole nine yards.  We comprimised on a few points but overall I got my way.  So I want to know what others do.

What is your go-to easy quick dinner?

Ours is a salad and soup (canned) but I’m always looking for better and more healthy ideas.

Do you ever take your wedding off?

I guess this question kind of excludes some people so if you aren’t married what do you think you would do?

Me; I almost never wear mine.  That’s because I only wear it when I leave the house.  I don’t like to wear it at home because I have to take it off to wash my hands anyway (which I am doing every time I turn around).  Also I don’t want to scratch Lily with it.  I love my ring, my Hubby did a great job picking it out.  I wish I could wear it more often but its not practical.

What is something you love doing just for you?

I’m not having the greatest couple of weeks here people.  And that means I need a facial and hair mask.  But not from a stylists, I l-o-v-e using everyday stuff and doing my own.  A little honey in some coconut milk will do wonders for my hair.  An avocado mashed up goes on both hair and face.  A couple of aspirins plus a smidgen of honey makes a wonderful mask.  I could go on and on.  Any of these plus a hot bubble bath and I’m  in heaven.

Cloth or disposables or a combination?

Lily is finally big enough to fit in the BumGenius 3.0′s I bought when I was pregnant.  Up till the other day she’s worn 99.999% disposables.

She wore cloth all day yesterday with no problems.  Last night for bed I put her in one of my AppleCheeks pocket diapers and added a doubler.  She still managed to leak big time.  Tonight I’ll try the BG’s and see if she leaks.  If she does I’m thinking about using disposables at night unless I can come up with anything else.  I just don’t see how I can pad the cloths anymore though.  Her poor legs already spread from the regular insert and the doubler.

Where would you/are you going on you next vacation?

I would like to go back to my hometown and see my family so they can meet Lily.  Waldo used his vacation for this year when I had her so we don’t get to go on  vacation till next year.

When you go out to eat with your sweetie do you both sit on the same side of the table or opposite side?

This is a big annoyance for my Hubby.  He feels (and luckly I agree) that you should sit opposite to you dinner date.  His logic makes sense to me.  If you sit on the opposite side you can talk face to face.  You can still play footsie, hold hands and even gaze lovingly into each others eyes.  If you sit on the same side you have to turn you head to talk or gaze.

Obviously we sit opposite each other.

Do you have any pets?

I have 3 cats. Jingle is the oldest and was a Christmas present from my Ex the first Christmas we were together.  Tandy is the youngest and goofiest.  Kitty (real original) was my Hubby’s cat and moved in with us when he did.  If something gets knocked off a table, spilt or broken you know Kitty did it.

They are all female.  My hubby is so outnumbered.

Did your birth experience go the way you had expected?

Mine certenly didn’t, I knew I wanted to do it all natural.  I ended up having Lily 4 weeks early and after a long labor it ended with a c-section.  You can read more here.
