The last time we went to the zoo in December the snow leopard put on a show for us. I guess it makes sense that in the warmer part of the year he just lays around, but now that it’s cold he’s all get up and go. He is a SNOW Leopard, which I would take to mean that he lives in a cold part of the world. It was fun to watch him be so frisky.

The dark haired little girl in the videos is just some random stranger, but a very cute one.

I guess all the work we put into helping Lily get over her fear of sliding has paid off.  That or she’s just a toddler and changed her mind. Either way I’m happy.

We have to go to one of the elementary schools to find swings since our neighborhood park doesn’t have any. Lily loves going to the “sand park” (it has sand under the swings rather than bark).

The best part of swinging is that Waldo and I walk in front of her and surprise her.

The last time we went to Zoo Boise as soon as Lily saw the coati she started doing this.

The coati is one of the animal that we had in the zoo in Fresno so she’s really familiar with them. We didn’t even tell her what it was this time, she just remembered. And she was so excited to see him as you can tell.

Lily has a bad habit of pushing her feet in my face, gently kicking me in the chest and putting her feet on the table. All of these things we are always working on, but it’s slowing going. Anyway one day a few months ago she was sitting on my lap and kept putting her feet in my face, at one point I smelled them and made a gagging sound. She thought this was the funniest thing ever and moved down to her chair to do it herself.

Lily loves watching this video and has recreated it a few times. It’s so funny.

I was watching old Lily videos with her other other day and this one made me smile so big. Lily has come so far in just under a year. It’s amazing.

I can’t believe that I forgot to post this video when it was new, but somehow I did. Lily is quite the little dancer and we were out on a walk one day in March and she started to bust a move.

I uploaded a bunch of stuff from my camera the other day and found this from when I was watching Olivia. The girls are using food bag clips to shave with. Such great imaginations.

A few nights ago Waldo was cleaning Lily up after dinner and he blamed something on her.  I said “don’t throw Lily under the bus” and her response was:

I had to have her repeat it once I got my phone off the counter and now she says it all the time.

Lily will ask me to see “viveeos” (videos) of herself almost daily.  I am happy to ablige.  Lily has her favorites and will go days wanting to watch it over and over and then we won’t see it again for a week and then it will be everyday. You just never know.  This is a video that she asks for often.  I think the second time we watched it she asked for by saying “I wanna watch the viveeo of Lily Bean swinging and Mama saying ‘look at the cute girl go’” I knew which video she was talking about because I don’t have a lot of her swinging when she was little, she didn’t care for it, but I wasn’t sure of what I said in the video and was so shocked when I played it and she got it right down to the last word.
