I’m Back and have big news
I’m back from our wonderful vacation/honeymoon and I do feel better, but that is bound to come and go as I found out that I’m pregnant last week! Waldo and I couldn’t be happier. We have been trying for about 3 months and the timing of finding out couldn’t have been better. I took the test in his parent’s bathroom. We got to tell almost all of our family in person and got to see the reaction and got hugs. It was so much better then telling them on the phone.
I’m about 6 weeks along and due January 16, 2009. According to What to Expect when you’re expecting (Thanks again Katie) the babies heart is beating about 80 times per minute and getting stronger every day.
So far I’ve only had a little nausea and my boobs are a little sore. This is great news and crappy all at the same time. Of course its great that I haven’t felt really sick or threw up, but it also scares me because I don’t “feel very pregnant”. But I’ve been to the doctor and she confirmed there is a bun in my oven and I go back tomorrow for my first OB appointment.
Life is getting interesting.

Darn lungs
Last year I had walking pneumonia and my lungs have never been the same. They feel tight quicker then they ever have in the past, I’m more prone to cough at the smallest tickle and anytime I even start to think that I might be getting sick I feel it in my chest first.
Last week I woke up with a sore throat and my lungs felt heavy. I was determined not to get sick before my long awaited vacation/honeymoon so I used the power of positive thinking to keep myself well. Unfortunately stress weakens the power that positive thinking holds and I got a chest cold over the weekend. It is now Wednesday and I feel like my head is going to pop when I cough, but I hold out hope that just being on vacation will work wonders on me. I really really hope so.

Getting closer
We are getting so close to vacation and our list is getting longer. But we are marking stuff off of it all the time. I better get back to burning CDs. You need a lot of verity for a long road trip.

2nd post

So I figured out how to change the date as to when this was posted, but since I didn’t on the first one I’m just going to tell you when it was originally posted.

Its done!
The house is so clean you can eat off the floor. Not that you would need to, we have clean plates. Ok, we didn’t clean the bedroom. That will have to wait till our long term house guest moves out. We need his bedroom to move stuff into. When he moved in we had to move a table and some other stuff into our already cramped bedroom. It will be nice to walk around the bed again.
We have some plans for the extra bedroom that we can’t wait to put into place. We plan to set up the few exercise machines we have to aid us in our healthier lifestyle mission. Hopefully everything will go well.
More exciting then setting up a treadmill is our vacation that is right around the corner. Its really our honeymoon. It starts in a couple of days. The days leading up to it are going to go really slowly I think.
