Random Mobile Shots

I guess the best way to start posting is to post so I figured I’d start with my standard Friday Random Mobile post. These pictures are from the last few weeks.

Lily needed to potty so we ran into a coffee shop and I felt weird about not buying anything so I got a hot chocolate that Lil and I shared. And by share I mean that she drank 90% of it of course.

We love food and eating out is our favorite past time. Lately we have been working on eating out less to save money and for health reasons. I love cooking and making things from scratch is one of my favorite things to do so that’s what we’ve been concentrating on the last few weeks. I made a super easy pizza crust and used some frozen sauce I made a while ago and we had crazy awesome pizza.

Lil doesn’t like red sauce so we use ranch on hers.

Lily decided that Kitty needed to feed her babies.

And more decided that looked good and joined in.

We bought a new car. Well car type thing really.

A brand new 2014 Honda CRV. We love it.

Another trip to Montana part 2

This is really late in coming, but I need to finish it. Part 2 of our last trip to Montana.

Lily continues draw her way across the country. She drew this for Becky.

We went by the Credit Union to say Hi to my friends and Lily decorated Waldo with their toys.

There was more Kinect Party at Anthony’s house.

We went and had dinner at our friends house. Anne and Dave. They have three very sweet girls, 14, 7 and 1. Lily had a great time playing with Allie their 4 year old and Waldo and I had a blast with Anne and Dave. Somehow I managed to not take any pictures of this event and I’m still kicking myself for it. Waldo even mentioned at one point to Dave he was sure I would be taking a complete ridiculous amount of pictures. Major fail.

On the way back to Gil’s from Anne and Dave’s we saw some wild turkeys. I took a fricking picture of the turkeys. Kids having fun – No, turkeys – Yes. I told you, fail.

In the tradition of last year we went to the park to feed ducks. Jack was suppose to go with us, but he ended up having something to do.

I took the opportunity to take some cute pictures of Lily.

That evening we went to a party with some old friends and some internet friends that we met for the first time. It was a little odd, but mostly fun.

We had to have breakfast at The Buffalo Cafe again.

The main reason we went to Montana was to go to our company picnic. Lily loved our boss’s dogs.

Lily lucked out when we visited our friend Jesse and Sheila. They gave Lily a few of their daughter’s old toys.

Saying goodbye to Becky sucked.

Don’t let her look fool you, she’s having a blast on that horse.

Driving home was uneventful, but so much fun because we always have fun on road trips together.

Lily makes a dream come true

Sunday is my day to sleep in and when Waldo and Lily came to wake me up I got a surprise. Lily showed me her new kitten Snow Flake and I saw she had some special Lily made wings taped to her back.

Me: Those are beautiful wings Lil, nice work.

Lil: I made her wings because it’s been her dream to fly.

Me: Oh yeah. That’s cool.

Lil: I made her dream come true.

Me: Wow, you rock.

After we got dressed I grabbed the camera and asked her why she made the wings. I just needed that for the future.

Random Mobile Shots

I missed last week accidentally so this post is going to be for the last two weeks.

We were at a store getting new beds and they had a little room with chalkboard walls for kiddos to play in. Lily had some fun.

Lily decided that Kitty needed to get her hair done.

Dr. Lily and her grandpa (Papa) playing XBox party.

Lily set these guys up and asked me to take the picture.

My Mother in Law made this princess doll for my niece. We’ve made some changes to the doll at this point, but she still looks mostly the same.

After the zoo last weekend we went to get frozen yogurt instead of zoo ice cream. It was a good decision.

Lily was dancing the ‘neigh neigh horse dance’.

My little crafty princess made some wings for Clifford while Waldo and I were rearranging the family room.

Lily’s babyisms

Tonight just a couple of minutes after Lily laid down for the night she picked her head up and just about killed me with the sweetness that came out of her mouth.

“Sometimes at night when I crawl up into your bed I stop at your tummy and whisper really quietly ‘goodnight’ to the baby”

“Really, that is so very sweet. Do you want me to stand up so you can tell the baby goodnight right now”

Lily’s whole face lights up as she takes in my words. “Yes of course I want to”

I stand up on my knees so my belly is at the right height and she bends down and no matter how hard I strain I can’t hear what she says, but she whispers something to my belly for a moment or two and then lays back down.

With tears in my eyes I kiss her head and tell her that she is “the sweetest thing ever” and then I say “You already love our baby so much don’t you?”

“Yes of course I do and if it’s a girl I’ll really like her too.”
